Loan market

If you lend through Money&Co., your capital will be at risk. The value of investments may go down and you could lose all or part of your investment. Private company investments are not listed on any market and this means that you may not be able to sell them when you want to do so. Money&Co. does not provide investment, tax or legal advice. If you are unsure about the suitability of an investment, you should speak to a financial adviser. Any investment made through Money&Co. by you as a Lender will not be covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Only loans with 100% repayment history can be sold in the loan market.

Please note that interest on loan parts is not accrued daily, but is credited to the account of the lender in ownership at the end of the monthly payment cycle. For example, if Lender 'A' sold a loan part on March 15 to Lender 'B' for a loan that was paid on the 26th of each month, Lender 'B' would get all the interest accrued on that part for March, as opposed to a proportionate distribution. All loan parts for sale in the market will be taken out of the market when the monthly loan repayment process begins. A new instruction to sell a loan part for the remaining quantity will need to be created after the monthly payment process has completed. Please note that the sale of your loan is not guaranteed and subject to availabile liquidity in the secondary market.
